Wierd Huh?

Okay, so I was looking up different pictures of the beaches in costa rica a while ago cuz i wanted to find a cool one to put on my desktop. This is the one I had chose about a week ago.....

.....look familiar?....I had no idea this was Jaco or that it would be the exact same view as the picture Kari took....notice how there are no buildings going up either...i thought that this was wierd.

Pura Vida

Here are some photos from my current view at the condo in Jaco, Costa Rica. Bahia Azul. This is what i saw every morning as I ate breakfast, rough huh?

My dad took us up a mountian...which barely fits a car let alone an SUV! Thought we might go over the edge a few times! But this was the view from the top! They will be building more condos that will have this same view. Nice.

And here is Bahia Encantada - we will be moving my dad into this project later today. This one will have an elevator..yeah! I am sick of steps with this fat ol belly! Isnt it gorgeous!

Ya the pools are awesome too! I think Cohen will be a water rat here!

Locker Boy

If you are curious as to why the babe wants to be in the locker - I found a quick way to entertain him when we did swim lessons with fall :)

He would run ALL over the locker room while I am half naked trying to get dressed. I got smart and jammed him in a locker - and he never wanted to leave after that.

So when we visit mom - all he wants to do it get in a locker :)

The Pacific

I said..."Now!"

So Cohen is starting to say a few more words...the new one he said happened to go like this: He is trying to get my attention and bring me somewhere - while I am trying to finish up whatever is was I was working on. He grabs my hand and says..."Now!"

Oh baby cakes! Who is in control? I couldnt help but laugh - but still I dont think my 20 month old needs to tell me now!

Costa Rica

I got to spend a few days in Costa Rica with Jay--it was great to meet his new contacts and be part of his new world.....

A nice view to wake up to.....you can hear the waves all day and feel the ocean breeze....not bad!

Here we are in Palmares, overlooking San Jose. We stayed in a cabin on a mountain the night before I had to return to the real world.

All Boy...

Cohen in his realm....too hard to get photos of him unless he is fully enjoying himself. What a boy. He is dazzed because there was a chainsaw behind me. Imagine that.

And We Got Meat Again!

Aaron shot a buck this weekend :) More meat for the freezer...yeah!

For all you hunters out there here are the stats for his buck: Main frame 9 4x5 with a one inch kicker. 11 .5 spread G-2 7'' Weighed 155 lbs dressed.

Ok for all you NON hunters this is what he got! A rack with 9 points - 4 one one side 5 on the other. With a mini spike on one side. The rack was 11.5 inches wide. The longest tine was 7''. It weighed 155lbs after it was gutted.

What a warm year for hunting and it was fun to Aaron join in on a family tradition that goes back to my earliest childhood memories.

Isn't it amazing... only a few years ago I had to carry the gun for the little guy on my left! I think he might be able to carry me and my gun now.

Seeing Double

I was giving Cohen a bath this morning and he never stop to amaze me thats for sure! I know one and a half year olds are smart - but sometimes he just catches me off gaurd at how MUCH he really knows and understands!

We have this waterproof book with sealife in it - one page is a seahorse...we also have a bath toy holder and the top of it has 2 seahorses on it - he opens the book to the seahorse, then points to the toy holder and back to the book again. I have NEVER shown him whats on the toy holder. WOW! How does someone so young observe and remember so much?

He has become quite the little character these thast few days - his personallity has really started to become quite the little show off...comical I must say.

Cohen and the Bug

Not sure which Cohen likes better....the golf cart with grandpa(JJ) or the "Bug" with grandma. The Bug has a radio, which he loves to turn really loud......

He just loves to take rides, push pedals, and turn wheels.......

It's a Lake in our Backyard!

Here are some photos of our pond? Maybe a mini lake now! Should be GREAT for ice skating this year. I'll do updated photos when we finish more...
